DV certificates prone to BGP Hijacking

Recently I saw some people on X trash talk OV and EV certificates, saying things along the lines "who pays for SSL certificates in 2026"

Well, yes people do, and there's atleast one good reason for it: DV certificates are technically prone to BGP Hijacking, meaning, your DV secured site could be MiTMed by a state level actor or less.
